Fowler Athletic Park, Gold Bar Park, The Meadows Community Recreation Centre, Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School and Rotary Challenger Park are popular places to run in this area.
All of Alberta can get snow in the winters. The cold parts around Calgary often gets temperatures down to -30°C-20°F and the milder parts around Lethbridge usually stays over -25°C-10°F.
The warmest parts might be too hot for pleasant runs in the summers. Temperatures around 35°C90°F are not uncommon.
