A good way to meet local runners is to participate in a parkrun. Mundy parkrun is held in this area.
Percy Perry Stadium is a track close to Port Moody that is open to the public. It has electric lighting for those fall evening workouts.
Another open track is École des Pionniers. It has a gravel/dirt surface.
If you need an open track close to Port Moody; Centennial Field and Simon Fraser University are some other tracks marked as open to the public and not too far away.
Mundy Park has a soft surface and are not very far from Port Moody for those who like to avoid the asphalt and concrete.
