A good way to meet local runners is to participate in a parkrun. College Park parkrun is held in this area.
Those wanting to run on a hard surface and are willing to go a bit outide of University Park can go to the course of College Park parkrun.

Hours are 7am to 2pm during school year and 7am til Dark in the summer. No pets or wheels allowed.
Track has a 1500m start marker along with a 1600m start marker, but no mile start marker.
