This is now a brand new track just recently rebuilt. The surface is synthetic (rubber). At the ribbon cutting, officials claimed the track would be open to the public/community after school hours and when there are no school events/meets being held but the fence and all the gates are brand new also now and most are closed and locked to protect the brand new facility, I presume.
