This is the old high school (now Middle School) 440 yard track. Four laps is a mile. It is in okay shape, but not kept up and the lanes are not well marked (and have faded). Fun aspects include places where tree roots have caused some footing changes and overhanging limbs with vines provide shade and dodging practice. It also has more of a "rounded square" shape.
This track is open to the public, but the school system may tear it up for a busing pickup/dropoff for the nearby middle school and elementary school. There is parking on the street-side of the field/track, plus parking after school in the Lincoln Elementary School lot. Use it before we lose it.
