Information
The forest of Chapultepec is the best place to run in Mexico City. There are miles of paths that you can take through winding tours of Mexico City’s version of Central Park. A few tips to keep in mind:

There is a vendor market inside the front entrance to the park. On weekends, the crowds here can be heavy which can really slow down a run as some of the paths go right through the market area.

Mexico City is at 8,000 feet elevation, so be very careful about running at altitude if you aren’t used to it!

The park completely shuts down every Monday for maintenance, as well as every evening at 8pm. Such a beautiful park needs to be kept safe in the middle of a huge city like Mexico City, so the walls and gates that surround it are thoroughly enforced when these closures happen.
